1986 Toyota Cressida

Behold, the blank canvas. There are certain cars that are like catnip to tuners and the Cressida is one such vehicle. At times, a car can be beloved for the style and design crafted by the engineers who conceived it – silhouettes become iconic and posters of them get put on walls – but sometimes the opposite can be just as impactful. Sometimes we enthusiasts want to craft our OWN icons. A car like the Toyota Cressida has become a different kind of beloved and that's because it gives the owner the perfect platform to conceptualize their own vision, their own opportunity to play engineer. What may play as a safe, brown, flatline to some, is a promising, brown, drumline to The Curb Cut.
